Arabia Felix
We are ARABIA FELIX a Swiss Yemenite nonprofit Organization. The association was founded in June 2019 as a non-profit organization in the fields of supporting children’s education and gender equality in Yemen and culture and dialogue in Switzerland. The headquarters of the Organization is located in the Swiss Federation, Canton Lucerne, and is registered according to the Articles 60 and following of the Swiss Civil Code (the “Association”).
Our first goal is to help the children of Yemen who are still living on a long dark path where the violence and gun shots are the only sounds that can be heard. There is hope and light for all kids to overcome those difficulties. The only way to give them longlasting and sustainable help, to light up their path is by supporting their education, so all kids can go through their future, live safely and building a successful community that is filled with life, peace and love.
Our second goal is to build an environment in Lucerne where the local Culture, laws and traditions are respected. A place where people from different backgrounds work hand in hand to face fear by building trust, awareness and being part of the community.
Arabia Felix has 3 Missions
Yemeni Kids education: females in Yemen are still struggling with under-age (kids’) marriage which result in more than two third of girls married before the age of 18. Therefore ARABIA FELIX are supporting females’ education in Yemen and empower them to build a better future as well as a safe world for them and for everybody else.
Swiss Arab migration dialogue: To develop and contribute to the dialogue between the cultures in order to build up trust and create a safe and peaceful environment for everyone without fear.
Values:
Kids education: Education is a basic human right that all children should get, no matter which religion, gender, belief or ethnic group they belong to. Females are a very important part of the society and need a special focus.
Gender equality: All genders should have the same rights. With the special aim to girls education, the woman strengh and the woman rights as well as the gender equality can be promoted
Culture: Respecting culture wherever we live is a part of building and improving our environment.
